Magento is going to release its new version 2.0 by end of November 2015. It seems to be quite number of big changes in Magento 2.0. New technologies include PHP 5.5 and 5.6,MySQL 5.6,CSS3,HTML5,JQuery,RequireJS etc. Checkout process has been made better.Performance might be better with new and updated caching technique.
